With the Patriots facing a slew of injuries, it’s easy to forget about some key players on their roster.
But the team still has key players like safety Devin McCourty, linebacker Dont’a Hightower and cornerback Logan Ryan returning.
With the team in need of a quarterback to help quarterback Tom Brady’s squad continue to build a formidable pass rush, it was a good bet that McCourts head coach and quarterback of the New England team, Bill Belichick, would return to the sidelines.
With McCourties passing game still in need, Belichick said he wasn’t looking for a quarterback, but he did have some praise for McCours play last season.
“We’ve got some guys coming back, guys that played well last year,” Belichick said, via the New York Post.
“I know they have some guys that want to play for us, so I don’t know.
I’m just looking forward to having them back and working out together.
I’ve always said I’d like to have them back, and I’d love to have those guys back, so we’ll see how it works out.”
